December 1, 2014 WATER!!!

Rio das Ostras
December 1, 2014

Dear Family and Friends,

It rained a bunch this week here in Rio! There was a lot of water here in our area and our zone. The rain and the 5 baptisms that we had. S-'s family was baptized this week along with E, another boy who is the son of a reactivated woman. We are working hard and having a lot of fun here in Rio das Ostras. I am enjoying my time and myself in the work and the responsibilities that I have as zone leader of an awesome zone!

I don't have time to write a whole lot this week. Just know that I am doing fine and everything is going well. We will be having a wedding this week of a family to complete, and her baptism will be next week, and then after that we will be having another 1 or 2 baptisms that we know of right now before the end of the transfer and before the end of the year. All the work that has been put into this area is really bringing the results this transfer. We are working hard together to baptize 9 people this transfer, and we already got 5!

We also set up our Christmas day lunch and where we are going to skype and everything. So that is all taken care of. Right now it's just waiting another 24 days until we all get to see each other on the internet. Can't wait!

This week we are going to be in Rio until Thursday, we are going to have no time to work in our own area. It'll be hard, but mission council and zone conference will be worth it. I'm excited to hear from the area presidency here in our mission and it should help out the mission a ton!

That's it for this week! Hope all is well up there in the States! Have a good week!

Elder Evans
